The Duke’s father shows a genetic link to a Bronze Age individual (I2165, 3000 BCE, Bulgaria). The paternal lineage (Y-DNA: I2a2a1b1b) traces back to European hunter-gatherers, while the maternal lineage (mtDNA: T2f) is associated with early Neolithic farmers. With a genetic distance of 12.28 and 131 shared SNPs, his DNA preserves ancestral markers from the first major populations of Eastern Europe 5,000 years ago. These results confirm the indigenous authenticity of the Todorović family.
